Hungarian Festival:
and Twilight Concert in the Museum Courtyard
First Saturday in June - Rain or Shine
Held every year on the first Saturday in June,
the festival begins at 11:00 AM and runs all day until 8 PM. Arranged with the Hungarian Civic Association of New Brunswick, it fills the Somerset Street mall area.
Festivities begin with parade to ceremonies on Somerset Street. Folk dance performances and cultural programs every hour. Hungarian food, vendors with Hungarian products, exhibits, music, folk art & crafts, games for children, museum gift shop, folk dancing, fencing demonstrations, etc.
Budapest Coffee House with Hungarian pastries and refreshments in the AHF Museum Courtyard during the day. Twilight Concert in the courtyard begins at 6:00 PM.
