Museum of the American Hungarian Foundation

The Museum's collections capture the flavor of Hungarian immigrant life with a fine art, folk art and folk life focus. The  short- and long-term exhibition area features shows of Hungarian naive art, one-man shows of American and Hungarian artists and photographers, as well as special aspects of Hungarian-American history, art, culture and traditions. Program services include tours for the public, schools and special interest groups, library research, traveling exhibitions and related lectures. The Museum is designed to display both permanent and special temporary exhibits. The Foundation's many collections house a great variety of objects which exemplify the rich cultural History of Hungary and the diverse contributions of Hungarians to the American way of life. A major focus of the museum collection is the work of artists who were born in Hungary and had careers in America.

Since its opening in 1989, over 80,000 visitors have come to the  Museum to view more than forty different exhibitions.
